Mario joined the College in 2006 after entering fulltime ministry with the Disciples of Jesus Covenant Community.  Mario spent 12 years teaching primary school (4 years as an Assistant Principal and 4 years in  high school as a Religious Education Coordinator. Mario also sat on the Archbishop’s committees that reviewed religious education curriculum for primary schools in 1996 and high schools in 2004.

Mario is now working in forming and pastorally caring for youth and young adults.  He was heavily involved in World Youth Day 2008 and on the organising committee for the Australian Catholic Youth Festival (2019).  Mario has been the Director of 24:7 Youth and School Ministry since 2011 and has overseen its expansion to servicing 14 youth groups for 16 parishes with over 160+ day retreats in schools across the Archdiocese of Perth.  Mario is also a highly sought-after facilitator for school staff retreats and sacramental parent workshops.
