How do I Apply?
How do I Apply?
STEP 1. Learning, literacy and numeracy (LLN) Assessment
In line with the increasing awareness of literacy and numeracy issues in vocational training and government regulation around this concern, applicants are now required to complete an LLN assessment to ensure each student has the appropriate skill level.
Should gaps be identified, options will be investigated to support applicants in reaching the necessary levels. This support may occur either prior to enrolment, if the gap is significant, or if the gap is minor, during normal training in the chosen course at the college. Testing is through validated tools developed by Innovation and Business Skills Australia (IBSA) and will test at levels appropriate to the course you will undertake. LLN levels for our units and courses have been set in reference to the Australian Core Skills Framework.
Please click on the links appropriate to the course for which you wish to apply. Download the assessment document, complete it and email to lln@acts2come.wa.edu.au. These will be marked and you will be advised of the result within 48 hours.

Jacinta Burns (Diploma 2017)
The Diploma of Youth Ministry is a great course to develop, grow and learn new skills in Youth Ministry. It was an awesome opportunity to learn more about my faith, how to work on better communication and expand to a greater capacity of leadership. Although the year came with challenges, I have become better prepared and equipped to overcome obstacles that may arise in working in Youth Ministry. Overall, it was an awesome year of mission and discerning where God is calling me in the coming years.
Aloyse Murray (Diploma 2018)
My decision to study the diploma last year was an easy one to make especially after studying the Cert IV in 2017. Over the past year I have come to a much deeper understanding of the faith, as well as learnt new skills that are transferable to my ministry and into any professional environment. I couldn’t imagine my year being any different or with any other group of people, I have formed so many new relationships that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much to the staff and students at Acts 2 for making my year the way it was, and I can’t wait for the adventures that are to come.
Ashley Carvalho (Cert IV 2017)
Entering Acts 2 College half way through my Politics and Law degree was a big leap of faith for me. Having now completed my Certificate IV in Christian Ministry, I have no regrets. My year at Bible College was a year that challenged me greatly in my faith but has also consolidated what I believe and what I stand for as a person. I loved journeying with my classmates and learning from my teachers. I am much more grounded in my faith and believe that I will look back on my year at Acts 2 as the year that really brought my focus back to God. I am looking forward to applying all that I have learnt into my everyday life and ministry engagements as I finish my law degree.
Caitlin Story (Cert IV 2017)
Studying at Acts 2 was one of the greatest decisions I have made for my faith and ministry. Not only did this year at college develop my faith on a personal level and give me the opportunity to learn more about the Catholic faith than I ever have, but it gave me practical help to bring into my ministry. Acts2CoME has developed my confidence and love for ministry, and I will bring the knowledge I have gained into every part of my life, especially in my job as Youth Ministry Co-ordinator for a parish home in Sydney.
Matthew Woodford (Cert IV 2017)
My time at Acts2CoME has strengthened my knowledge in my faith, the church and the works of ministry. This has given me the confidence to step out to bring about a tangible evangelisation to those around me but most importantly, I have been evangelised through the encounter and experience of God’s living word through my studies which in turn has transformed the way I choose to see and live life to the full. I am truly grateful for the memorable years at the college!
Elijah Boylen (Cert IV 2018)
Last year at college was one of the most blessed and grace fill years of my life so far. Every aspect of the college shaped me in my faith emotionally, spiritually and intellectually and I feel much more mature in my faith because of it. I also made some amazing friends in the form of my classmates, and lecturers who really informed and supported my faith. This year I’m working as a 24:7 Youth Minister for St Simon Peter’s Parish in Ocean Reef and with everything I’ve learnt and the grace of God, I have great confidence in my ability to walk with the youth in their faith. I’m also studying a B.Sc. majoring in Psychology at UWA and I’m really excited to combine this with my knowledge of the faith to come up with new and exciting ways to spread the good news! Overall, my time at Bible College was an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone and I look to forward to what God has in store for me in the years to come!
Sebastian Vorster (Cert IV 2018)
Completing the Cert IV at Acts last year was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. I was challenged greatly during the year to work harder, learn about the Lord and love those around me. I am now seeing the benefits of my qualification and everything learnt last year in both my ministry and my spiritual life. All the best to those who wish to attend Acts2CoME in the future.
Linda, class of 2015
My year at Acts2CoME has been one of learning and personal growth. It has deepened my understanding of Church teachings and enabled me to discover deeper layers of hidden meaning in the Scriptures. The staff at Acts2CoME are both passionate and personally invested in supporting each student’s needs and learning. Through regular school and aged care ministry opportunities, as well as many fun, creative and varied assignments, projects and presentations throughout the year; my confidence, faith and self-belief has begun to really blossom. What a blessed and privileged year!
