Students come to our college for a variety of reasons. Most want to learn more about God’s plan for their lives, to grow in their relationship with Jesus, and to come to a deeper understanding of their faith. Many also want to be “equipped” to live out their faith in a meaningful and “dynamic” way and to be able to take this faith and share it with others through various ministry opportunities. The experience of studying within a vibrant faith community allows God to reveal more and more of His purpose for each person’s life.

The College does not offer residential accommodation. Within an easy bus ride there are a variety of accommodation choices. Families within the Disciples of Jesus Covenant Community, and the local Parish, may also be available to accept boarders.

Participating in Acts2CoME is really an experience of dynamic Christian living. Our teaching staff present courses designed to be informative, engaging, and interactive. In addition to scripture and catechism, students have opportunities to learn practical ministry skills such as communication, how to evangelise, establishing and running a youth group, presentation skills, supporting liturgy and a variety of other skills. As part of the curriculum, students will be involved in areas of service and ministry. This may include youth outreach, conferences, and retreats. As the Lord helps each individual become more aware of their gifts and amazing potential they will have the opportunity to utilise them.

As students grow in their relationship with God, and develop their knowledge and skills, they will be attracted to different ministries and experiences. The College is about equipping students for ministry to youth, missionary work, parish ministry, priesthood, sisterhood, lay apostolates, university, marriage – whatever the Lord calls them to do. Whatever our graduates do, the key is learning to surrender and say “yes” to God’s awesome plan. You can make a difference!

If your passion is youth ministry, we provide the only nationally accredited Catholic Youth Ministry qualification in Australia.
